* * GUYS PLEASE READ! * * The ND Board is becoming a mess, lets get it back on track! The "New Minot Thread!!" Should not have had to happen, and is preventable. We just lost the Main Minot Thread with 600+ replies and 300+ images that dated back to 10/24/22. Unfortunately, this is due to people miss using and not understanding the formatting of how any given States Anon board effectively works for many years on end. I would like to help address this situation and hopefully prevent future losses, to our established threads. There are simple Unwritten Rules or Guidelines to posting and navigating a states Anon board. >Apparently, I actually need to actually write them down for some people. Rule 1. Post within your relevant thread. place your content, and unfortunately your ever begging requests properly into their Specific Location | City, Town or Closest regions Thread Keeping the number of Threads within the ND Board low is the key to getting the volume of content in each thread high. Rule 2. Do not duplicate threads. Specifically DO NOT do this out on the main board when the subject already has content within a specific towns thread. It is wasting space on the board and bumping a thread off the bottom for no reason. Before you just Willy Nilly post out on the main board, go look in that persons relevant town thread first. If you do not see who you are looking for or who you are sharing, only post within that Thread about that person, the percentage of you coming across someone who might have a lead increases significantly vs out on the main board. Mainly due to the fact many guys go directly to their relevant towns Thread first and skip over a lot of the irrelevant (to them) Threads out on the main board. This has been a common issue with our board over the past two years. Really it all started around Covid when our Board started to see a lot more (un educated) traffic. Rule 3. Collectively we all work together to stop board trolls. We saw this happen recently with the Scat Posts, some idiot spammed the entire board and deep into many threads with irrelevant damaging posts all over. It's also happens often with salty ex's posting one word Threads countless times over on the board, ultimately pushing threads off the bottom of the board. When this is happening, Collectively we must bump the established threads back to the top. Additionally, it helps to get as many Global Reports sent off quickly on the spammers posts. When you report use some key words: Reveals Personal Identity, CP (spelled out), Exposing Real Information, Age, Against Global Rules. etc. etc. The more reports a post gets the faster it disappears. No more random one offs out on the main board! If you see a void in your area, and the main board has the room feel free to make a Thread for your specific area, the broader the better for small town area Be mindful of what you're bumping off the bottom! Let's get back to posting within appropriate city/town/region threads. I think a dedicated OnlFan$ thread could be useful to build upon as many of their handles are spread all over in multiple threads at the moment. When posting the link or Usr name also mention their location if it's relatively known. keep the ND Board organized as a whole for everyone to enjoy the most amount of content. >Thanks - The Colonel
